Pierre Desprats signs the music for Elie Grappe’s first film (which he finds again after the short film “Suspendu”, 2015) about a 15-year-old Ukrainian gymnast who is training in Switzerland for the European Championship for the Olympics. The score then plays the breaths, the sound of devices and friction.

David Sztanke signs the music for Vincent Cardona’s first film about a silent young man with a passion for radio who tries to seduce a friend by sending a message encoded on magnetic tapes. We attend scenes where a sound and musical creation is played live. Besides, the story takes place at the beginning of the 80s and we then hear pop titles from the time (Joy Division, Front 242 …).

Javier Navarrete met on this horror film by Scott Cooper who had called on Max Richter on his western “Hostiles”. On the other hand, the Spanish composer reunites with the film’s producer, Guillermo del Toro, after “Pan’s Labyrinth” (2007) and “The Devil’s Backbone” (2001). The piano is central, sometimes melodious with a sweet ritornello as the main theme, sometimes struck supported by dissonant strings in the register of anguish, and the addition of a cello and some vocal presences for the fantastic mystery.
