While the law on the Vaccine Pass could be published in the Official Journal this weekend, it will not impact amateur sports meetings.

The final version of the law on the Vaccination Pass – which will be compulsory in particular to enter a stadium or practice sport – was voted in third reading on Sunday January 16 by the National Assembly. Seized by several deputies and senators, the Constitutional Council must deliver its conclusions on Friday January 21. The promulgation will be carried out in stride with a probable publication in the Official Journal on Saturday or Sunday.

An application from this weekend would then have consequences for sporting events, in particular amateur football. We therefore questioned the Ministry of Sports to find out if the clubs would be immediately impacted by the Vaccination Pass.

The Vaccination Pass applicable from Monday?

“The application of the Pass vaccine should not impact the meetings of the coming weekend, we were told. After validation of the Constitutional Council and the publication of the decree during the next weekend, these measures should take place from next week. »

This will reassure all the clubs but also the authorities (FFF, Leagues and Districts) who feared that the Vaccination Pass would be applicable from this weekend for sport. On the other hand, the ministry “invites you to anticipate the consequences of these measures in your organization because people who will not be in possession of the Vaccination Pass will no longer have access to ERPX and PA”. We must therefore expect an obligation from Monday. The Ministry of Sports has also updated the health decisions until January 24.
