S‘it has not yet arrived in your mailbox, the mail sent by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to 3.3 million French households will not be long in coming.
This is a missive to be kept in a safe place, since the object is a significant aid from the state: the “Pass’Sport. »Kézako? The Pass’Sport is a new back-to-school sports allowance of 50 euros per child to finance their registration in a sports association and allow them to participate in the activities it organizes from September 2021 to June 2022.
Who is concerned ?
The Pass’Sport is intended for children aged 6 to 17 on June 30, 2021 who benefit from either: the back-to-school allowance, the education allowance for disabled children, the allowance for disabled adults ( between 16 and 18 years old).
How does it work ?
The 3.3 million families eligible for Pass’Sport are receiving a letter these days, with letterhead from the Ministry of National Education, Youth and Sports, informing them that they are benefiting from this 50 € per child. No action is to be taken. All you have to do is present this letter, between July 1 and October 31, 2021, when registering with the sports association of their choice to benefit from an immediate reduction of 50 euros on the cost of membership and / or the license. The Pass’Sport is an aid that can be combined with other aid put in place in particular by local authorities.
The “Pass’Sport” was officially presented by the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, during a trip dedicated to the reopening of sports activities in Pont-Sainte-Marie on May 19 in the presence of Jean-Michel Blanquer, Minister of National Education, Youth and Sports and Roxana Maracineanu Minister Delegate, in charge of sports. A few months ago, the President announced a strong measure of support for the taking of a license in a club at the start of the 2021 school year.
An action that will undoubtedly contribute to relaunching community life, necessarily affected by the health crisis.
