Audi Sport aims for Dakar victory with new Audi RS Q e-tron

The terrain of an ultimate challenge: the Dakar 2022

A real challenge for the brand with the four rings, this rally-raid created by Thierry Sabine in 1978 will be one of the biggest challenges in motorsport for Audi. This new edition will take place from January 2 to 14. The course includes 80% of tracks with more sand. The competition will take place in the heart of Saudi Arabia.

Taking up the tradition of previous editions, a two-day marathon stage, without assistance, will put the pilots and their vehicle to the test. David Castera, director of the Dakar, specifies: “We are going to explore places that we have not fully explored, with an emphasis on sand and dunes”.
