The LR presidential candidate, Valérie Pécresse, announced, Monday, December 13, that she entered the CSA after the announcement of a television program with Emmanuel Macron broadcast on Wednesday evening, at the very moment when she was to intervene on BFMTV.
“I grabbed the CSA” car “you cannot have a candidate president who has television channels on demand and for hours campaigning, while his opponents have to be content with five minutes of duplex to answer him”, said Valérie Pécresse during a visit to Calais (Pas-de-Calais).
“It is not my conception of democracy” and “I ask the CSA to restore equality of speaking times and democratic fair play”, she added.
The TF1 and LCI television channels announced Monday that they would broadcast a major interview with the President of the Republic on Wednesday at 9:05 p.m., in which he will be questioned on the results of his five-year term. This interview entitled “Where is France going?” was recorded under live conditions, the TF1 group told AFP.
However, the candidate LR was to participate at the same time in the political program “Face à BFM”, scheduled for 8:50 pm. This show has been postponed “given the interview with Emmanuel Macron”, BFMTV reported.
