The finale of “Koh-Lanta: The legend” will not be live

TELEVISION – New twist. Even as the grand finale of the final season of Koh-Lanta is to be held this Tuesday, December 14 in the evening on TF1, it will not, for the first time in the history of the game show, be broadcast live.

According to Isabelle Morini-Bosc at the microphone of RTL, the adventurers were all summoned this Tuesday morning at 10 am. The thirteen jurors of the final council and the two finalists normally had an appointment at 4 p.m. in the studios of La Plaine-Saint Denis to shoot the said program a few hours later.

Information confirmed by The Parisian. “Exit the direct, Adventure Line Productions has opted for a shooting of the final recorded set. Whoever thought to win this anniversary edition being wet in several cases of cheating, impossible to take the slightest risk ”, details the daily in its edition of this same Tuesday.

The news is not surprising. Several days ago, the producer of the show Alexia Laroche-Joubert informed, still in the columns of the Parisian, think about other modalities about the “final count”.

What do you give 100.000 euros?

Koh-Lanta: The Legend is in turmoil. While a first case of cheating led to the ousting of Teheiura, cult candidate for TF1’s reality TV, a second case erupted in early December when the press revealed that other participants would have, in turn, participated in “clandestine dinners” on several occasions during the filming. A photo immortalizing one of those moments would have even been taken.

Two of the three candidates currently running for the final, namely Claude and Laurent, are suspected of having participated in these “dinners”. The first, also suspected of having taken advantage of dishes illegally harvested by Teheiura, preferred not to respond to the charges. The second, he denied outright, indicating to be the one who “lost the most weight” during the adventure.

This Tuesday, who of Laurent, Claude or Ugo will win the 100,000 euros? Faced with controversy, the production wants to be careful and not reward a “cheater”. The votes are already sealed, some media suggest that the sum could be donated to an association. That of the fight against the cancer of Betrand-Kamal, ex-candidate of the game who died in 2020, was notably mentioned.
