In total, 80 Miss, aged 18 to 28, tried their luck. At the end of the competition, it was Miss India, Harnaaz Sandhu, who won the title of Miss Universe 2021, succeeding the Mexican Andrea Meza. His first runner-up is Miss Paraguay, Nadia Ferreira. Aged 21, Harnaaz Sandhu had already been crowned Miss Diva 2021, Femina Miss India Punjab 2019 and placed in the Top 12 at Femina Miss India 2019! Harnaaz Sandhu: “It was an adventure filled with love”
A few hours before the parade, Harnaaz Sandhu, had confided how grateful she was to be able to participate in the Miss Univers. With emotion, she wrote on Instagram: “It has been 74 days since the day I was chosen to represent India at Miss Universe 2021. It has been an adventure filled with love, fun and hard work. As I am going to this stage today as India, I carry with me your prayers and your love. Thank you to my family for supporting me, today and always. Thank you to all the designers who made the woman in front of you so pretty. Thanks everyone. It wouldn’t have been possible without you. India is for you!“
