The Minister Delegate for Transport, Jean-Baptiste Djebbari, said Wednesday, December 15, to hope for an end to the conflict at the SNCF “by the end of the day”, against the backdrop of calls for a strike to demand, in particular, wage increases.

“There have been discussions since yesterday, which will continue this morning”, between the management of the SNCF and the unions, underlined the minister on RMC. “I had one of the union leaders who said he hoped for an end to the conflict at the end of the morning, in any case that is the wish that I have”, he added.

SNCF CEO Jean-Pierre Farandou, “has been making proposals for many weeks” about the “prime Covid” claimed by employees, “he has already taken action, I hope that we are heading towards an end to the conflict by the end of the day”, continued Jean-Baptiste Djebbari.
