The Minister Delegate for Transport, Jean-Baptiste Djebbari, said Wednesday, December 15, to hope for an end to the conflict at the SNCF “by the end of the day”, against the backdrop of calls for a strike to demand, in particular, wage increases.
“There have been discussions since yesterday, which will continue this morning”, between the management of the SNCF and the unions, underlined the minister on RMC. “I had one of the union leaders who said he hoped for an end to the conflict at the end of the morning, in any case that is the wish that I have”, he added.
“I hope that we are going towards an end of the conflict during the day. There will be more trains for the holidays than what was presented by the unions: more than one in two trains”.
