21:16 – El Nesyri offside

Heat stroke over Gabon. On an opening from Aguerd, En-Nesyri goes behind the defense and sees Amonome completely miss his intervention. The Moroccan striker concludes in the empty goal but is finally signaled offside.

21:15 – The bar for Allevinah

Right side, Oyono addresses a cross that seems much too long. Allevinah tears away and tries to straighten him acrobatically. His ball turns into a shot and fails to deceive El-Kajoui, bouncing off the top of the bar.

21:13 – Double change for Morocco

Vahid Halilhodzic continues his coaching and brings in two new elements with Boufal and Barkok, respectively in place of El-Kaabi and Fajr.

21:09 – Allevinah hits wide

Nice catch from Oyono on the right which surprises Masina and goes in the axis. He slips to Allevinah who tries his luck between the side and Aguerd. His shot at the end of the race slips past the Moroccan goal and does not worry El-Kajoui.

21:07 – The free kick in the wall

At 28 meters, the Moroccan free kick is pushed back by the Gabonese wall. Hakimi recovers the ball and decides to put it back in the box. His cross goes to the far post and just misses being picked up by El-Kaabi, who is finally lobbed.

21:05 – Aguerd leads the charge

From his defense, Aguerd carries the ball and comes to bring the surplus in the midfield. He finds a solution behind. Amallah takes the initiative to hit but is jostled by Poko. Free kick.

21:02 – Fajr close to equalizing

Back with a bang for Morocco. Fajr approaches in the right axis and arms. His cross shot takes the direction of the small inside net but Amonome relaxes perfectly and deflects for a corner.

21:02 – Amonome picks up

The corner that follows Fajr’s dangerous strike does nothing. Indeed, Amonome captures at the far post and brings calm to his area.

21:02 – Resumption in Yaoundé

The match resumes and Gabon launches the second period.

20:47 – Gabon leads at the break

Gabon creates the sensation by leading at the break against Morocco (1-0). After twenty soporific minutes, Allevinah took advantage of a huge error from Chakla on a clearance from Amonome to inherit the ball and present himself alone against El-Kajoui and deceive him with a cross shot. The Gabonese could have doubled the bet by Kanga and Palun but the Moroccan goalkeeper kept his team in the game. Vahid Halilhodzic’s men showed great difficulty in building the game and created little danger.

20:46 – Yellow card for Boupendza

In the duel in the air with Aguerd, Boupendza is guilty of an elbow on the Moroccan defender and is warned logically.

20:45 – Additional time: 1 minute

At the end of a first period without real stoppage of play, the referee grants one minute of added time.

20:43 – Morocco struggling

Morocco is not going well tonight and it shows. In the middle, Masina and Fajr get in the way and under the pressure of a Gabonese rush and release the ball in disaster forward. The ball is returned to Gabon.

20:41 – El-Kajoui saves his team

Superb parade of El-Kajoui. The Moroccan goalkeeper continues to work wonders for his goal. On his line, he relaxes perfectly on his left to get out of a tap horizontally the head of Palun, who had risen in the heart of the surface to take back a cross from the left.

20:40 – Hakimi stopped

Hakimi tries to bring danger on the right but the PSG side is perfectly taken by two Gabonese defenders and is locked up.
