Was Delphine Jubillar’s car used by Cédric Jubillar the night the nurse disappeared? Le Parisien returns to a detail that could be incriminating for the husband of the missing.
There are still many gray areas in the Jubillar affair, which started almost a year ago, on the night of December 15 to 16, 2020. In an article in the Parisian, we learn indeed that one of the elements that still raises questions is Delphine Jubillar’s car, as well as the keys to start it. Besides the fact that the car seems to have changed position between the time Delphine Jubillar brought her children home from school on the 15th, and the time when the police arrived to see her disappearance on the night of the 16th, another detail could indicate that Cédric Jubillar used the car well of his wife the night of the disappearance.
According to Parisian, the three gendarmes who were the first to arrive at the Jubillars’ home found the husband’s behavior strange. The first suspicious thing is that obviously, Cédric Jubillar didn’t think of going to look in his wife’s Peugeot 307 to see if it was there when he began his search after finding out that she was missing. The second thing concerns location of keys of said car. After the gendarmes asked him to go get the keys, the article explains that Cédric Jubillar went directly to the coat rack where Delphine Jubillar’s brown jacket is hung. He told the gendarmes he had found the key in that coat.
Did Cédric Jubillar use Delphine’s car the night of the disappearance?
This statement is however contradictory with the words of Cédric Jubillar during his police custody during which he explained that the usual place of the car keys is on the kitchen counter. How did he know, when the gendarmes asked him for the keys, that they were in Delphine’s jacket? and not, as usual, on the kitchen counter? An element that does not play in the favor of Cédric Jubillar, already indicted for murder by spouse in June 2021 and, despite the absence of the body of Delphine Jubillar, main suspect in the murder of the nurse. Presumed innocent, Cédric Jubillar is in detention at the Seysses remand center.
