Aisne, Ariège, Landes … Discover the list of the 10 departments selected to experiment with the new health protocol in primary schools

We knew that ten departments would experiment dfrom the beginning of next week the new health protocol in schools … but the list was not known until now. Finally concerned are the Aisne, Ariège, Côte-d’Or, Landes, Manche, Morbihan, Moselle, Rhône, Val-d’Oise and Var, franceinfo learned from the ministry of National Education, confirming information from Parisian.

In these ten departments, all students in a class will be tested when a case of Covid-19 is detected, and only positives will be placed in isolation. In other words, the closing of classes will no longer be systematic. This “experimentation” announced by Jean-Michel Blanquer on franceinfo Tuesday, September 28 on franceinfo, echoes the recommendations of the Scientific Council. In a notice dated September 13, the authority recommended to carry out tests systematic weekly in primary schools, “then allowing to send home only the children detected positive, and not all the pupils of the same class”. The Council believes that the benefits are both “sanitary”, making it possible to limit the number of cases, and “educational”, with “less lost school days”.
