In 2021, Disney + took it up a notch in its series, film and documentary offerings. The year was notably marked by the arrival of the STAR section and by the launch of Marvel programs such as WandaVision and Loki. So who is in the top?
2021 has been a year of success for Disney +, which continues to gain ground in the streaming landscape. The American giant continued to develop its catalog by adding a new universe, entitled Star, which is aimed at a more adult audience. There are films and series from the various studios of the group (20th Television / ABC Signature, FX Productions, 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Studios…).
But their biggest challenge was the launch, in January, of their Disney + series from Marvel Studios. The idea? Bringing a little bit of the Marvel Cinematic Universe back to TV to extend the experience. And it was WandaVision that started the ball rolling.
