Failing to embark on a fourth Jumanji – counting the first film of 1995 -, Dwayne Johnson to Return to Director Jake Kasdan’s Camera for Amazon Prime Video’s Next Red One. This new project was announced last June and if no synopsis has yet been unveiled, the film is described as an action and adventure comedy that will play globetrotters in a whole new universe related to Christmas. And to believe Deadline, the film should take up Netflix’s strategy by focusing on several bankable names in the casting with the arrival of Chris Evans, known for playing Captain America at Marvel.

Since Avengers : Endgame and the retirement of his superhero, the actor really did not stray from the sets. He notably joined the star-studded cast of the film At loggerheads by Rian Johnson and that of the series Defend Jacob of Apple TV+. He also returned to the camera for the Netflix thriller The Gray Man of the Russo brothers and the animated film Buzz Lightning in which he will lend his voice to the famous space ranger. If rumors would like it to continue with the remake of The Little Shop of Horrors and an upcoming Scott Derrickson film, so it’s another project that’s been added to his schedule, although details of his role are still being kept under lock and key.
