From Sunday 19 to Friday 24 September 2021, you will be able to attend outdoor screenings to Lille Palace of Fine Arts (North). A rich program awaits the spectators, on the occasion of the International Short Film Festival.

Every evening a session

Every evening during this period, from 8 p.m., shorts will be projected on the big screen, behind the museum (access via rue de Valmy). Spectators will be able to sit comfortably in a deckchair to discover the annual selection of the festival.

Six programs presenting the best of current creation in short format will be presented in these sessions. You will discover courts of national and international competition.

On the program: Sunday 19, Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 September, national competition films; on Wednesday 22, Thursday 23 and Friday 24 September, films of international competition.

Please note, these sessions are not recommended for children under 14/16 years old.

Stay warm, share, discover

For those who would prefer to stay warm, this will be possible in several ways. The screenings of the Palais des Beaux-arts will be presented simultaneously in the museum auditorium.

The competition programs will also be to be discovered in the heat of the Hybrid cinema, on the evenings of September 19 to 24. On Saturday 18th, a “best-of regional creations” evening will be held there, and on Saturday 25th, you will be able to discover courts using virtual reality. Another event to note: the afternoon of Saturday, September 25, from 4 pm, a “café des réals” is organized in the cinema. You will be able to meet and discuss with the directors of the competition who will be in Lille. For this event, reservations are not necessary.

Remember that, like every year, the jury is the spectators! You will be able to vote for your favorite films and determine the festival’s 2021 winners, which will be revealed on the festival’s closing night. The appointment is given on Sunday September 26 at 7 p.m. at the Sébastopol Theater. A nice final in perspective, with the screening of award-winning films.
