15 films in Kinology’s Berlin line-up

), the French international sales company Kinology (managed by Gregoire Melin) will go on the attack again at the European Film Market (online from February 10 to 17) of the 72nd Berlinale.

Among the 15 films in the line-up point very diversified assets in post-production, including the title of animation Arthur, curse (Arthur Malediction) from Barthélémy Grossmann, produced and written by Luc Besson which thus revives the franchise started with Arthur and the Invisibles [+lire aussi :

(2010). The plot? Alex, 18, is a fan of the fantasy film series Arthur since he was a child. When his close-knit group of friends surprises him by inviting him to the abandoned house where the movie was filmed, they unwittingly walk into a twisted and deadly trap. What was once a childhood dream will soon turn into a real nightmare…

Presales also start for pure (Queens), the first fiction feature by Yasmine Benkiran (listen to the podcast on film financing). In post-production for a spring delivery, the film opens in Casablanca, Morocco. A trio of women are chased by the police. It’s the beginning of a long run for our protagonists, who will cross the Atlas, its red rocks, its valleys in bloom and finally reach the deep South and the Atlantic… Produced by John of the Forests and Amelie Jacquis for the French company Petit Films, the feature also involves Deux Ligne Films, the Moroccans of Mont Fleuri, the Belgians of Need Productions and the Dutch of KeyFilm. The release in France will be managed by Tandem Films.

Also coming to the Kinology line-up The medium (The Medium) from and with Manu Laskar (read the article – assisted in the casting by Louise Bourgoin, Noémie Lvovsky and Maud Wyler) which joins a post-production section where always shine Chronicle of a temporary liaison (Chronicles of a Temporary Affair) d’Emmanuel Mouret (with Sandrine Kiberlain and Vincent Macaigne headlining – read the article) and A woman of our time (A Woman) from Jean-Paul Civeyrac (with Sophie Marceau and Johan Heldenbergh in the casting – article).

At the EFM, Kinology also continues to work on pre-sales of the animated film in pre-production Argonautes (Argonuts) from David Alaux and several finished films like Heartbeast from the Finnish Aino Suni (which just premiered in Gothenburg), After Blue [+lire aussi :
