Vaccination: Didier Raoult tempers the shocking words of Nathalie Marquay

On the Touche set not at my post this Monday, January 24, Nathalie Marquay made shocking remarks accusing the vaccine against the coronavirus of having deteriorated the health of Jean-Pierre Pernaut. At his side, Didier Raoult nuanced.

The words of Nathalie Marquay caused a wave of shock. This Monday, January 24 on the set of Do not touch My TV, the former beauty queen gave a startling speech about coronavirus vaccines. “My father and Jean-Pierre were vaccinated at the same time. My father had shingles and, this is going to be a great scoop for you, Jean-Pierre, since January, unfortunately has had four mini strokes since he had this vaccinen”, launched Nathalie Marquay. And to add: “When I’m in the hospital, I tell the doctors it’s still weird, we’ve done all the tests possible to find out where these mini strokes come from and we can’t find. I told them: ‘Since that he had this vaccine, 8 days later, he did this. Is there a connection?’ And they say right away: ‘No, no, no’. But it should be said. It’s like my father, shingles.”.

If Nathalie Marquay seems convinced that the strokes suffered by Jean-Pierre Pernaut are attributable to the vaccine against Covid-19, this is not the opinion of Didier Raoult. Invited to his side, the media and controversial doctor qualified the words of Tom and Lou’s mother. “It takes a little time to analyze that. (…) There are things that will take a long time to learn, there are rare events. What we manage to spot is when rare elements are more frequent after vaccination because, since they are rare, they attract attention”, he explained, assuring that “cerebrovascular accidents are things that are frequent”. To establish a link, “you have to do statistical tests, have comparison groups to be able to understand”, added Didier Raoult.

Nathalie Marquay: “I am not against vaccines”

According to the professor, it is therefore difficult to find a cause and effect link. “There are many of these situations in which there is no explanation”, he replied to Nathalie Marquay, who explained in Touche pas à mon poste that the doctors cannot understand how her husband, who is currently fighting lung cancer, was able to have strokes, despite many exams. “The day I got vaccinated, the next day I had the Covid, added the wife of Jean-Pierre Pernaut. Same for my daughter. Incredible. I am not against vaccines, I had my three vaccines, we follow like little sheep to continue living. (…) My son Tom took his third dose today and that worries me a little…”
