Comedian Michelle Desrochers, originally from Châteauguay, entered the house of Big Brother Celebrities January 9. At the start of the season, she was named the first patroness of the house.

The comedian will stay in a suite, within the residence. One of his tasks: to place two celebrities in danger of eviction from week 1.

Michelle Desrochers was chosen first patroness of the house alongside celebrities Claudia Bouvette, Marc-Antoine Dequoy and PL Cloutier, who, like her, emerged winners of the “bubbles-in-the-evening” challenge. Which of the four candidates will carry the title? The comedian did not plan to achieve this status. “Obviously I won’t be the boss. No matter the game, I’m going to lose it on purpose. I don’t want to be the boss,” she mentioned at the premiere of Big Brother Celebrities. Obviously, her peers convinced her during a four-way discussion.

Michelle Desrochers shares the house with 15 other celebrities so far. A 16th celebrity, Stéphane Fallu, should join the group soon. “I’m here to find love, to find love, uh, to win,” she said during her presentation on January 9. The comedian intends to play “the endearing, comic-complexed toutoune” within the group. His objectives: “to win and get out of here cut with the grand prize,” she replies. Michelle Desrochers fans were able to follow her on the shows pig shots, Roast Battle, Punch club and Prochain stand-up.

Big Brother Celebrities, broadcast on Noovo, is in its 2nd season. Reality TV is a game of power and strategies. The candidates live together 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, under the eye of many cameras. Their role: to create alliances with other celebrities in order to stay in the house as long as possible. The winner of season 2 will win a prize worth $160,000 including the rental of a condo for 3 years, a car of their choice and a scholarship of $25,000 to be donated to a foundation close to their hearts .
