I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! Candidates Simon Gregson and Kadeena Cox confessed to having successfully passed food to the bosses and in the castle.

After leaving the ITV series in second place, Coronation Street actor Simon said he secretly brought bouillon cubes on his return to the show after campmates were evacuated during the storm Arwen.

Speaking on tonight’s Legends Of The Castle, he said: “I would try to smuggle salt and pepper and lots of bouillon cubes. They had me on salt and pepper but they never had me on bouillon cubes.

“Every time I cooked, I put a little bouillon cube in it. “

Paralympian Kadeena has also managed to hide her contraband from the watchful eyes of producers.

“I tried to smuggle contraband, original Fruitella and Werthers and I’m going to be honest, I got a handful,” she said.

Although the two stars managed to secure goods beyond security, the food situation in the castle was still painfully grim.

“We found ourselves dreaming about food all the time, that’s all we would talk about,” admitted Matty Lee.

Speaking of rice and beans, Richard Madeley continued, “It’s like eating chopped newspaper and water, it’s texture. “

Louise Minchin added, “Rice and beans are relentless and they kind of grind you because they are bland and tasteless. “

Oh, and to make matters worse, there were often times when Kadeena and Naughty Boy would bang their heads while they were preparing meals.

“Me and Naughty Boy created fireworks in the kitchen of good food, but also big arguments,” she confessed.

Naughty Boy added, “I got a little hot in the kitchen, but me and Kadeena are both passionate chefs. “

We bet Hanger had a role to play …

Legends of the Castle airs at 9 p.m. tonight on ITV and ITV Hub.
