FIRST Dates star Fred Sirieix paid a touching tribute to his teenage daughter after the successful Tokyo Olympics.

16-year-old GB team diver Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix surprised spectators with an incredible dive and finished in seventh place in the 10m platform final.

Upset dad, Fred, 49, shared his pride in an adorable Instagram post: “Olympian and 7th best diver in the world.

“Bravo champion ??????Forever my little girl who once lived on my shoulders. Only now she flies through the air. #goAndrea ??❤ #olympics # diving #plateforme # 10m #teamgb @ andreassirieix04 ”

Her followers were quick to congratulate Andrea, with just one writing: “Massive congratulations Andrea, she has an amazing supportive daddy, there will soon be a medal for her! “

Another said: “So amazing! Well done Andrea it’s amazing xx ”

It comes after Andrea bursts into tears as she talks to her famous father Fred via a video link during the games.

Fred was unable to attend the Tokyo games as spectators are not allowed in the stadiums.

The celebrity shares daughter Andrea and son Lucien, 12, with ex-partner Alessandra Spendolini, who split in 2018 after 12 years together.

Andrea missed a medal in Tokyo, with China’s Quan Hongchan taking gold, China’s Chen Yuxi taking silver and Australia’s Melissa Wu taking bronze.

After the apparition, Fred tweeted: “The important thing in life is not the triumph but the fight; the main thing is not to have won, but to have fought well. – Stone coubertin’.

Andrea also said: “I am so happy. I was talking to my family because there is an Athlete Moment screen and I started to cry. I am very, very proud of where I am from.

“I was extremely nervous going into the preliminaries so I thought my nerves would get the better of me and I wouldn’t make it to the semi-final. Then after the semi-final I got to the final and that was exactly what I wanted to do. It was my plan. I definitely exceeded my expectations.
