Ender year 2021: Natalia Bryant put a lasting foot forward at the Met Gala this year

Sustainability has become a growing trend in the fashion world among many celebrities around the world. In recent years, the red carpet has also seen stars and designers scramble to popularize eco-friendly clothing. This year’s Met Gala saw many stars venture into some green looks for Lorde.

For the Met, stylists have created sets that turn the heads of their respective muses by using dead stock and other sustainably sourced materials in the manufacturing process. Natalia Bryant wore a flowery sequined ball gown by Conner Ives. The designer, who made his Met Gala debut, created the outfit using recycled PET plastic. The daughter of basketball legend Kobe Bryant looked stunning when she first attended this prestigious event.

The fully recycled dress featured an interesting silhouette and defined enduring haute couture. The 18-year-old model has opted for shades of gold and bronze in the beauty department. The young celebrity chose emeralds for the bling. “This dress was originally a centerpiece of the costume show. It created that fortuitous opportunity for a red carpet moment that I had dreamed of since I started drawing this shape, ”Mr. Ives said. “This is the conclusion of two crazy years perfecting this set of works,” added the New York designer.

Here’s the look as seen on Natalia during her 2021 Met Gala red carpet appearance:
