The 57-year-old made his debut on the ice last weekend but less than 24 hours later was forced into self-isolation.
Viewers were surprised to see him cheer on his co-stars from the side of the rink and then give a brief interview to show host Phillip Schofield.
One viewer tweeted, “Shouldn’t Bez be self-isolating? »
Another confused social media user said: ‘Oh wait a minute bez is here lol…’

A third viewer asked, “How come Bez is sitting in the studio? »
Bez was seated next to his dance partner Angela Egaown, who also had to self-isolate last week.
He told Phillip: “I was one of the lucky ones who had no symptoms. »
While the isolation period remains at 10 days, someone can end it sooner if they receive a negative lateral flow test after five days of self-isolation.
Bez did not expect to leave solitary confinement so soon.
He told The Star: “I had a positive test. I’m gutted because I’m going to miss practice but I can’t wait to skate on the show again for week three and I’m going to settle at home and cheer on my mates who are skating this weekend. »
