Britney Spears will not be inviting family members to her upcoming marriage to Sam Asghari, it has been claimed.
The Toxic singer, 40, announced her engagement to the personal trainer, 27, in September, five years after they first met.
After her controversial guardianship ended, the mother-of-two opened up about the role her family had to play in the court order, calling them on social media.
According to reports, she has now started planning her big day with her partner and does not plan to have them on the guest list.
“Britney can’t wait to get married and really start her life,” an insider told Us Weekly.
“They’ve already started planning and she’s so happy to finally be able to make those decisions.

“From now on, no family member will be invited to the wedding. “
Britney was placed in a court appointed trusteeship in 2008, with her father Jamie Spears taking care of her welfare and financial affairs, along with a bank.
She recently shared explosive testimony about the terms of the guardianship, claiming that she was prevented from having a child by being forced to keep an IUD in her body, and that she was not allowed to be driven in. car by her fiance.
The Baby One More Time star has revealed that she wants to ‘sue her family’ for being complicit in the way she has been treated for the past 13 years.
“I would also like to be able to share my story with the world and what they have done to me, instead of it being a secret secret for the benefit of all,” she told the court in June.
In a long Instagram caption in October, she later called them out for not helping her in her quest for freedom.
“I suggest if you have a friend who has been in a house that has felt really small for four months … no car … no phone … no door for more privacy and they have to work about 10 hours a day 7 days per week and donate tons of blood weekly without ever having a day off… ”she wrote.
“I strongly suggest that you go find your friend and get him out of there !!!!! “
“If you’re like my family saying things like ‘sorry you’re in a guardianship’… probably thinking you’re different so they can fuck you !!!!
“Fortunately, I found an amazing lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, who helped me change my life !!!! “
At a hearing last month, Judge Brenda Penny ruled to end the order with a few minor exceptions.
