Ant Anstead remains ‘positive’ co-parenting with Christina, Louise

Overwhelming co-parenting! Anstead ant is “invested in” his children while raising his children with Louise Anstead and Christina Hack.

The car specialist, 42, became a dad in September 2003 when he and Louise welcomed daughter Amelie, now 18, followed by son Archie, 15, four years later. After their separation, the England native left with Haack, 38. Flip ou Flop The star gave birth to son Hudson, now 2, in September 2019, a year before they called it quits.

The automaker has a ‘great relationship’ with Louise, he said exclusively We Weekly on Tuesday, January 18, while promoting Radford’s Return.

“We had been together for 22 years. We are still best friends,” said the Wheeler Dealers the host said We. “We FaceTime at least every other day because we are family. It helps that my kids are older.

Ant noted that he is able to see his teenagers “properly”, although it has become difficult amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“When I see them…I take time. I make sure I’m there,” the reality star shared. “I handle it in a really positive way. I think it works really well. … I love being a current parent. I like to be invested in my children.

Asked about Haack, Ant gushed at We about her “great relationship” with Hudson, saying, “I’m responsible for my part of that. … I’m lucky to be really, really involved with Hudson. There are so many people who are worse off. So I chose to look at the positive side of parenthood. … If you’re making a decision that puts the kids first, it’s probably the right decision. I strongly believe in being responsible on my part.

Ant and the Christina on the coast star are trying to give their toddler “as normal a upbringing as possible” after their breakup, a source has exclusively told We in August 2021.

“[They] keep co-parenting well,” the insider added at the time. “They put Hudson first and put aside any tension between them.”

Haack is currently contracted to Josh Hall, as news broke in June 2021 that Ant was coming out Renée Zellweger. The former cop met the 52-year-old actress on the set of Celebrity IOU: Joyride, who filmed amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Ant has also been working on his latest TV project, Radford’s Return, post-quarantine, and the For the love of cars alum sprung We about Tuesday’s “cool” show. “I’m a car guy,” he says. “I’ve been since I was a kid and love nothing more than driving fast cars recklessly around the track. So the good thing about building a supercar [on the show] is it is by its very nature fast. So I had to travel a long way.

Radford’s Return premieres on Discovery+ on Saturday, January 22.
