In an uncertain context for several months, the health crisis requires, companies and their managers have shown resilience in order to continue the development of their activity. Sometimes they have even innovated to turn to new markets or to reinvent themselves. It is for these companies, often unknown, that the ceremony of the Septets was designed! For this new 2021 edition in the Hautes-Pyrénées, the general public will be able to appreciate the incredible resources of their territory and the enthusiasm of business leaders through these pages presenting the nominated companies.
Scheduled for Thursday, September 30 at the Hautes-Pyrénées Tarbes CCI, this new Septuors ceremony, at the initiative of the Dépêche du Midi Group, will keep all of its promises, including the first: bringing together the players in the territory. As always, the choice of nominated companies was made by our editorial staff, in partnership with the departmental CCIs and the Occitanie Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region according to 7 categories: Agri-food, Entrepreneurs, Innovation, Sustainable development, Industry, Trade / Crafts & Territories, International , and three special awards CCI 65, Initiative Pyrénées and Région Occitanie.

« Since March 2020, the health crisis has hit our companies and their employees, pushing them to adapt and reinvent themselves in order to be able to resist the economic and social consequences. The fight for employment and innovation has always been a priority for the Occitanie Region. But now is not the time for defeatism and we welcome this partnership with the Septuors ceremony which highlights the jewels of the regional economy. Today, more than ever, it is important to show companies and their employees our support, our desire to support them in their development and our recognition of supporting the local economy.
Support for local businesses is thus the cornerstone of the regional recovery plan launched at the start of the crisis and which will continue in 2021. As a public service to the economy, the Occitanie Region supports businesses in order to maintain jobs and skills, but also to create favorable conditions for a rapid and sustainable return to activity. As such, 300 million euros are allocated in the 2021 budget to emergency and recovery measures.

EURETEQ, the technical expert in industrial infrastructure
Founded in 1937 and historically specialized in the engineering of the transport of sensitive fluids by pipelines, EURETEQ is taking the turn of the energy transition by putting its skills at the service of anaerobic digestion, hydrogen and electricity. It covers all the study needs of a project: from technical engineering to land-use engineering, including regulatory files and environmental management. Such a transversal vision has enabled EURETEQ to promote the territorial appropriation of projects for more than 50 years in direct connection with the territories (population, elected officials, associations, etc.). With rigor and consultation, EURETEQ provides real global support solutions for industrial planners in the area, including the construction of numerous pipelines in France with its historical client TEREGA, or to conduct studies on the development of hydrogen transport pipelines. with AIR LIQUIDE. These projects are carried out both in France and abroad under the leadership of Nicolas Azan, president of EURETEQ and deputy regional delegate of France Hydrogen Occitanie, which brings together all the industrial players in this emerging sector. Since 2020, EURETEQ has been putting its expertise at the service of GRDF, for whom it carries out studies on the connection of anaerobic digestion units to its network throughout France, around fifty projects per year, of several kilometers each.
FINE LAM, modern technologies for slicing
Created on the skills of several manufacturers in 2001, on the one hand a specialist in the manufacture of hams (Salaisons Pyrenees IGP Jambon de Bayonne), and on the other the company Charcupac, Fine Lam evolves in the field of industrial preparation of meat products and relies on an innovation that has made it possible to recreate a top-of-the-range slicing tool capable of providing the link between the production of ham and the return of a sliced product in a tray. “We also brought together two other salaisonniers who took part in the capital of this project, and we attempted the adventure with the objective of making a place for ourselves on the Bayonne ham market in France and for export” indicates Pascal. In 2021, an investment plan of 3.5 million euros with the objective of always being in industrial excellence and a third production line came to validate the relevance of the project. “Our project is high-tech because all the latest technologies are integrated to have a line adapted to our needs with reasonable objectives on the French and export markets. Thanks to our local roots linked to the Bayonne Ham IGP, and to this organization, Fine Lam shines all over France ”supports Yves Georges, the manager of the Bordères-sur-l’Echez site, which employs 26 permanent employees. and a dozen temporary workers. “We want to continue working in gastronomy and salting.
