Thursday, November 25, Marie-Christine Verdier-Jouclas, Member of Parliament for Tarn, went to Montans to visit the “Ateliers du Pain” company. The opportunity for her to discover this company which produces 200,000 breads every day by visiting the premises and discussing with the employees, Vincent and Julien Caussade, managers and the founder of this SME, Philippe Caussade. “Les ateliers du pain” created their first production line in 2013, then a second in 2017. This company exclusively manufactures pre-baked, frozen bread for mass distribution and national wholesalers. Their particularity is based on their artisanal process of long fermentation which preserves all the nutritional qualities of the bread and a digestive quality which differs from the industrial standard.
This company is part of the France Relance, Industrie du Futur call for projects. Other developments are underway and should see the light of day soon, enough to continue to boost this unique manufacturing company. “For a long time I walked by this company wondering why this large building was called“ Ateliers du pain ”. Today, I understood why: we remain in a human dimension on a large scale ”underlines the Member of the Tarn.
