Aurore Bergé visited the Rouxel company in Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines

MP Aurore Bergé (LREM) visited the Rouxel Mold company on Friday, November 19, accompanied by its manager Frédéric Rouxel.

The family business, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year, manufactures industrial molds, which are then used to make thousands of food product lids, cosmetic capsules or pharmaceutical caps. 43 employees work at the Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines site.

The Member of Parliament for Yvelines came to discover the new facilities co-financed by the France Relance plan. “We want to support the companies that are in our territories. There is a real stake in maintaining our know-how, ”Aurore Bergé insisted.

The subsidy of 360,000 euros, paid this summer, allowed the company to finance 50% of the price of three new machines. The Rouxel company took charge of the second half of the investment.

“We were able to modernize our equipment. They make the work of our employees easier by offering more customization options, ”explains Frédéric Rouxel. “The touch-ups on the molds are fewer and more precise,” adds Thierry, who works on one of the new installations.

Boost the company’s production

These investments made it possible to boost the production of the company after the health crisis, estimates the director. The company is carrying several new projects in the cosmetic and food fields.

The MP met with the employees to discuss the operation of the new machines.

Aurore Bergé then met with the company’s employees to discuss their work and recruitment in the industrial sector: “We must change the image of jobs in industry which have many diversified opportunities to offer”, said the MP.
